REGISTRATION FAQ’s

My child hasn’t played footy before.  Can we join ERJFC?

Of course!  New player registrations and enquiries are very welcome.  Please do not hesitate to contact our Registrar, Melody via registrar@erjfc.com.au to find out more information about joining our amazing club.

How do I register?

All players must register online via   https://www.playhq.com/afl/register/ae05cb

Follow the prompts to register via PlayHQ.

Remember! The information you provide at registration must be reviewed each year to ensure it is up to date and accurate.

I’ve forgotten my PlayHQ password. What do I do?

Select “Forgot password?” and an email will be automatically sent to your email address. Check your email and follow the instructions before trying again.

My email address is not recognised on PlayHQ.  What do I do?

Please contact the ERJFC Registrar who will review the contact email address that is registered to the player (if played previously).

Please do not create a new player profile for a previously registered player as you will duplicate all of your player information.

How do we transfer from another club to ERJFC?

New player registration enquiries are very welcome.  Please contact the ERJFC Registrar to find out more about joining our great club or please complete the following New Player Form.

Provided there are places available on a requested team after the current ERJFC player priority registration period, we will then be able to accept new and transferring players into teams.

As the incoming club, ERJFC will need to initiate an online transfer with the player’s original club.  You will be required to provide some basic player information and proof of age ie. Birth certificate or passport prior your transfer being requested.

What happens after we register?

All new players will receive a welcome email from the Registrar with all the information you need to get started at ERJFC.  All new players will also receive a ‘New Player Kit’, comprising player bag, socks and drink bottle.

How do I ensure we stay informed of all important team and club information?

The Registrar will share the contact details you have provided at registration with team officials, so you are included in important team information and updates.

In addition, you can follow our social media accounts:

Where are ERJFC home games played?

East Ringwood Juniors play their home games in several locations.

  1. Ainslie Park – Croydon
    • The recently built Ainslie Park Pavillion, is regarded as ERJFC’s primary playing field and the clubroom hosts our junior club social events.
  1. Glen Park – Bayswater
    • Glen Park is our second oval, utilised regularly when we have more than five ‘home’ games scheduled for Ainslie Park.
  1. Quambee Reserve – Ringwood North
    • Home to the U8s competition.

FURTHER PLAY HQ INFORMATION

All player information is now stored on the player portal, PlayHQ.  If you have difficulty registering your child, information on this process has been provided by the EFNL and is available at EFNL_PlayHQ How to Register Players Step by Step Instructions.

Many parents/guardians may already have a profile in the PlayHQ system, due to their involvement with other sports such as basketball or cricket who also use PlayHQ.   For parents/ guardians who have not used PlayHQ previously, you will be required to create a new account.  Please use the email address that was used to register your child this football season and ensure all of your child’s details are correct (name spelling, DOB).

After entering your child’s details on the registration form, anyone who had a child playing AFL previously will be prompted to ‘claim’ their child’s profile.  This process will link your child’s former Gameday profile with their new PlayHQ profile.   If you have any questions relating to registration, please reach out to our Registrar.

Once registered, you will be able to view your child’s playing history (back to 2015), statistics and upcoming game schedule once the season commences.  We recommend you download the PlayHQ app on your phones/devices to enable simple access to this information throughout the football season.
